About Kiana

In high school biology was one of my favourite subjects. I did human biology in Higher and I enjoyed that even more! This passion for the subject is what helped me decide what I wanted to do in university. By tutoring I want to help others enjoy biology just like I did. Not only is biology a vital subject in many university courses, it is also the study of life!

About the lesson

In my lessons I take a personalised and tailored approach, finding similarities between topics that the student finds easy and ones that they find difficult makes biology seem more manageable. Most importantly I’m aware that the pressure of exams can be overwhelming, and I work to create a positive and non-judgemental environment for students where they can feel relaxed and comfortable to ask questions at their own pace.
