About Diogo
Since 2009 I give music lessons.
At this point I give saxophone lessons to individuals and through the Conservatory of Lisbon.
I taught for two years music education in primary schools (Porto and Évora) for students from 6 to 10 years.
As a musician I played in several bands: Big Band ESMAE, Duo Meio da Terra, João Berhan, Carlos Barreto in Loko Band; and I have experience in various musical styles: Jazz, Blues, Bossa Nova, Samba, Funk, Rap, Salsa.
Right now I'm also recording my first album

The classes are aimed at students of all ages and levels, from students who have not had contact with any instrument to advanced students who are preparing admission to higher education.
Classes are prepared depending on the level and interests of the student. Some of the possible topics to work in class:
-Musical initiation: basic rhythms, singing, sound experimentation, listening
-Saxophone: breathing, posture, fitness, embochure, musical intuition
-Theory: reading, writing. scales, modes, chord progressions, songs
-Improvisation
