My approach as a tutor is to create a relaxed and low-pressure environment for my students.
I love to not only tutor and help your child succeed, but I want to learn about them as people too!
A typical session with me consists of a 5 minute check in (how was your day, how was your week, anything fun happen?, etc.). Then we jump into what the student needs help with that session. I want them to guide me with what they need so I know they are getting the best help.
I like to end my sessions with a goal for the week.
