About Jace
My connection with Spanish began in my teenage years, captivated by its sound and expressiveness. Over the past nine years, that early fascination evolved into a lifelong passion for teaching. I’ve had the joy of helping students of all ages discover not just how to speak Spanish, but how to feel it — through music, stories, and authentic conversation. Teaching has given me the chance to watch countless students blossom into confident, culturally aware communicators. My teaching philosophy revolves around patience, creativity, and personalization. I adapt every lesson to match the student’s learning style and goals, whether they’re preparing for an exam, moving abroad, or learning for pure love of language. I use humor, empathy, and real-world content to make every session memorable and enjoyable. Outside the classroom, I immerse myself in Hispanic culture through travel, film, and literature. These experiences enrich my lessons with authenticity and warmth. For me, being a Spanish teacher is not only about education — it’s about connecting people across cultures and helping them discover the joy of communicating from the heart.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students experience the language rather than just study it. I focus on communication, rhythm, and emotion — the living elements that make Spanish such a vibrant language to learn. Every session combines conversational practice, grammar, and storytelling, ensuring students absorb vocabulary in natural, memorable contexts. I believe learning Spanish should feel like a dialogue between cultures, not just a classroom exercise.
Beginners start with pronunciation, everyday conversation, and basic grammar. Intermediate learners develop fluency through creative writing, debates, and media integration, while advanced students tackle idiomatic expressions, academic essays, and cultural nuance. I also provide preparation for DELE exams and professional Spanish for work or travel. Lessons are interactive, visual, and tailored to each student’s pace and interests.
What moves me most as a teacher is witnessing transformation — the moment when a student begins to think, dream, and even joke in Spanish. That’s when language becomes identity. I’ve seen hesitant learners grow into confident speakers who can navigate new countries, connect with diverse communities, and view the world through a wider lens.
