About Violet
I have just completed my A levels in London. I have previously taught English to children as a volunteer. I love reading, journalism and writing poetry. I would love the opportunity to discover more literature through having discussions with new students as we work.

My teaching method will be based off my recent English A Level education. I will work with extracts so that learning is put into immediate practice, and the student builds up a comprehensive knowledge of a variety of literature. I will work verbally, encouraging discussions with the student to explore ideas in depth and through language, so that essay writing becomes less daunting and the process of discovering literature becomes more natural and engaging. I will provide practice essay titles and mark written work to assess the student as they put all this work into practice.
