About Aarohi
Hi, I’m Aarohi! I am a second-year UK medical student with a passion for helping students unlock their full potential in science. With years of tutoring experience across KS3 and GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths, I understand how to break down even the most challenging topics into clear, manageable concepts. Alongside my studies, I tutor younger students both formally and voluntarily, including working with university societies and online platforms. I’ve also been a Sixth Form Prefect, a peer mentor, and part of international programmes helping children improve their English and academic confidence. As a tutor, I’m reliable, professional, and genuinely invested in my students’ progress. I create a supportive and structured environment where questions are encouraged, confidence is built, and exam success becomes achievable. As a second-year medical student with a strong academic foundation in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, I bring both knowledge and real-world understanding to my tutoring sessions. I’ve achieved top GCSE grades (A**–A) and I now support students from ages 13–18 in achieving the same success through engaging, personalised science and maths tutoring. My approach is friendly yet focused. I tailor each session to the student’s needs—whether that’s filling in gaps in understanding, simplifying complex topics, or boosting exam technique and confidence. I aim to make sessions interactive by using active recall, visuals, exam-style questions, and discussion-based learning to help students truly grasp the “why,” not just the “what.” I have extensive experience tutoring students at GCSE and A-Level, including: One-to-one support for my younger brother and his classmates in Year 9 Volunteer teaching as a Sixth Form Prefect in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths University peer tutoring for first-year students in Biology, Cytology, Physics, and Chemistry Participation in spoken English education programmes for children in rural India Involvement in a student-led academic society with a tutoring website Typical lessons are 60 minutes and can be flexible based on the student’s preference and attention span. I tutor all major exam boards and am confident in supporting students preparing for mocks, final exams, or just trying to build a better relationship with science. Whether your child is aiming for top grades or simply needs a confidence boost, I’m here to guide them with patience, structure, and encouragement.
