About Nitish
I'm a working Data Scientist currently employed at SAIS IT Services, where I build enterprise AI systems, including a multi-agent AI pipeline for automated test generation and documentation. Before this, I worked as a Data Science Intern at Dell Technologies, giving me hands-on exposure to real-world data science workflows early in my career.
Academically, I hold an M.Tech in Data Science Engineering and a B.Tech in Computer Science, and I'm currently pursuing an MBA in Product Management and Generative AI, which has sharpened how I connect technical work to real business outcomes. I've also had a paper published at an IEEE conference and won 2nd prize at a university-level Tableau data analytics competition.
Outside of my core technical work, I've cleared the CDS exam and SSB interview, which reflects a strong foundation in discipline, leadership, and communication — qualities I try to bring into how I teach and mentor. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, practical steps, and I find genuine satisfaction in helping students go from confused to confident, especially when it comes to building real projects they can be proud of.

My teaching approach is project-first and practical — rather than starting with heavy theory, I connect every concept to how it's actually used in real Data Science work, since I apply these same tools daily in my job. A typical class starts with a quick recap of what you already know, moves into the new concept with live coding examples, and ends with a small hands-on task or problem so the learning sticks before the session ends.
I teach Python, SQL, Machine Learning, and Data Science fundamentals, with a strong focus on helping engineering students build final-year projects from scratch — from choosing the right topic to implementation to explaining it confidently in interviews. My classes are aimed at college-level students, particularly those in engineering or preparing for placements, though I also work with beginners who are completely new to programming and want a structured, patient introduction.
What sets my teaching apart is that I bring an active industry perspective — I build real AI systems as part of my day job, so I can show you not just how something works, but how it's actually used and valued in the industry today. I also bring a leadership and communication foundation from having cleared CDS-SSB, which shapes how I structure sessions to be disciplined, goal-oriented, and clear.
