About Elena

Professional, Certified, and Passionate About Your Success

With over 20 years of teaching experience, a Bachelor’s in Education, and TESOL certification, I bring expertise, structure, and proven results to every lesson. My background includes:

University-Trained Educator – Degrees from Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Education and Early Childhood Development, ensuring lessons are grounded in sound pedagogy.

10,000+ Online Classes Taught – Platforms like Outschool and VIPKid have rated me among top tutors for student progress.

Bilingual Native Speaker – Fluent in both English and Spanish, so I understand language-learning struggles firsthand.

Why Students Trust Me:
Legitimacy – Verified credentials, clear teaching methods, and professional lesson tracking.
Consistency – Structured yet flexible lessons tailored to your level and goals.
Respect & Patience – A judgment-free zone where mistakes are part of learning.

I don’t just teach—I equip you with skills for real-life conversations, careers, and confidence. Let’s achieve your goals, one engaging lesson at a time.

About the lesson

Why Take Lessons With Me?

Because learning a language should be effective, enjoyable, and tailored to YOU—not a one-size-fits-all textbook approach. Here’s what makes my lessons different:

1. 20+ Years of Real Teaching Experience
I’ve helped 4,000+ students (kids and adults) master English and Spanish—not just as a tutor, but as a certified teacher with degrees in Education and Early Childhood Development.

My TESOL certification means I know how to break down complex grammar into simple, usable steps.

2. Lessons That Adapt to YOU—Even Last-Minute!
Need to prepare for a job interview tomorrow? We’ll focus on that.

Want to understand reggaeton lyrics or telenovelas? Let’s dive in!

Unlike rigid programs, I adjust instantly to your goals, mood, or urgent needs.

3. No Boring Drills—Just Real, Engaging Practice
We’ll use movies, music, news, and games to make learning natural.

Focus on conversation, not memorization—so you actually remember and use what you learn.

4. Patient, Encouraging & Fun
Mistakes? No stress! I create a judgment-free zone where you can practice freely.

My students describe me as "the teacher who makes you forget you’re learning" because lessons feel like lively chats.

5. Bilingual Advantage
As a native speaker of both English and Spanish, I understand exactly what’s tricky for learners (false cognates, verb conjugations, accents) and how to fix it fast.

Ready to try? The first lesson is all about your goals, your pace, and your interests—let’s get started!

I highly recommend my English teacher for anyone looking to improve their language skills. She teaches online at the intermediate level and has been an excellent guide throughout my learning journey. Her creativity and ability to listen carefully make every class engaging and effective. The lessons are dynamic and motivating, and I always feel encouraged to share and practice my speaking. Thanks to her support and teaching style, I’ve noticed significant progress in my English. I’m truly grateful for everything I’ve learned from her.
