About Teresa
I have over 20 years experience working with children. I started off in childcare. I have worked in various positions working with various age groups. Five of those have been tutoring. I have a bachelors degree in Educational Studies and currently work as a substitute teacher.

Instead of teaching reading skills in isolation, I use a few simple games to create more streamlined pathway to instruction. Sometimes when things like phonics, phonemic awareness, letter sounds etc. are taught in isolation not only does it take forever, but some students are unable to make the connection to fluent reading.
With the program that I use students are able to not only build decoding skills, but are able to blend and manipulate phonemic sounds more accurately to build reading fluency.
