About Alex

My name is Alex. I am passionate about studying history, 20th Century in particular. Nazi Germany, the World Wars, US minority rights and the Cold War are of special interest to me, especially after prior GCSE and A-level curriculums. I have ten GCSE qualifications of which 9 are A/A* (7/8) level and three A* A-level qualifications. I enjoy tutoring and get great satisfaction from helping students engage and succeed. I am able to use a variety of teaching methods that aim to captivate and pique the interest of every student.

About the lesson

My methodology centres around positive reinforcement and striving for continual improvement. I am a tolerant and patient tutor who will help students gain a thorough comprehension of the contextual significance of each topic studied. The length of sessions can vary depending on the needs of the student but a rough guide would be around an hour. I am able to tailor my lessons to students of any age or level of history and will thus adapt my teaching style to teach students in the most appropriate and effective way.
