About Amelia
Hi, I’m Amelia, a passionate maths tutor with a deep love for numbers, patterns, and problem-solving. I studied maths at an advanced level through my Maths and Further Maths A Levels and have competed in national maths competitions, where I discovered not just the challenge, but the creativity and beauty of mathematical thinking. Now, I’m applying what I have learnt studying Economics and Finance at university, where I get to see how maths powers real-world decisions and innovation. My tutoring is shaped by the belief that success in maths isn’t just about formulae - it’s about mindset. I help students reframe mistakes as part of the learning process and build lasting confidence through steady improvement- a lesson I learnt when I tried and tested what seemed like every technique throughout my learning journey. My approach to maths tutoring is all about mindset and progress. I help students shift from a fear of getting things wrong to seeing mistakes as stepping stones to understanding.
