I have had previous experience running a study group for GCSE English students over the summer. During this workshop, I provided comprehensive study sheets to allow students to digest the themes and quotes. I provided my own examples of exam questions in order to expand the students' knowledge on what questions look like and how to answer them. I am able to relate the topics of English to modern day principles, helping students engage more actively in their studies. By teaching students how to select and analyse useful quotes, the intensity of GCSE English becomes more easy and manageable. Furthermore, I am able to teach students an adequate structure to answering exam questions under time constraints. The typical length of a session can run from 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 mins, depending on the topics covered.
