From the very beginning James has shown real dedication to his studies and has been an excellent student in approaching all the subject matters required by the programme. James is meticulous in learning, particularly in grasping tones and characters of the Chinese language which are often perceived challenging. James has participated and performed well above the average. This is evidenced by the fact that he has already achieved HSK4 and will progress as the top student of his group onto the next stage of his studies in Beijing.

Not only is James a highly motivated, intelligent and pleasant student to have, he has also been a caring and supportive peer for the rest of his group. He often generously shares experience, knowhow and advice related to the programme with fellow students and has had a positive influence to the group. Moreover, James is a reflective learner and observer, demonstrating critical and constructive understanding of the programme from the perspective of teaching.
