The goal in being a tutor is to help students reach their best potential and show their best work in assignments. This can only be done through intentional time and effort put in through tutoring lessons and a desire to help students grow and learn, not only as students, but as people.

I believe it is most important to genuinely care for students and show them that I care. If I do not care about them, why should they care about what I have to teach them? The goal in tutoring is to help students reach their maximum potential and not just learn subject area content but thrive in life. I am most experienced working with students in Junior High (6th to 8th) grade, but I also have content knowledge and training to work with High School students.
