About Diana
I’ve been tutoring in some form for as long as I can remember. I actually started helping other kids with homework back when I was at my babysitter’s house. Since then, I have always had a desire and passion for teaching and helping others attain their own form of success.
I especially love working with writing and literature. I enjoy helping students figure out how to express their ideas clearly, build strong essays, and feel more confident analyzing what they read. I know that writing can feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking things down into simple, manageable steps and guiding students through the process.
As a student teacher, I bring both classroom experience and a structured approach to my sessions, but I keep things flexible so I can meet each student where they are. I aim to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.
I work with middle and high school students at a variety of levels, whether they need extra support, help staying organized, or want to strengthen their writing skills. My goal is always to help students not just improve their grades, but feel more confident in their abilities.

I use a scaffolded teaching approach, breaking complex skills into manageable steps so students build confidence gradually.
I incorporate the I do → we do → you do model.
I prioritize building relationships and trust, which helps students feel comfortable asking questions. I tailor every session to the student’s learning style, pace, and goals. To achieve this, I break down difficult concepts in simple, relatable ways.
