About Mayci

I am in my third year at BYU majoring in Violin Performance! I have been playing violin for nearly 14 years and viola for about 8 years. I’m currently a violin/viola teacher at the Lehi School of Music and work with all levels of students every day. Throughout my time as a violinist, I have had so many amazing opportunities, like winning a concerto competition at Lutheran Summer Music in Indiana at just 16 and recently playing as concertmaster in a production of Les Misérables! I have experience in classical, contemporary, and fiddle genres. I love music and hope to be able to show you how to love music too!

About the lesson

When teaching violin and viola, I believe in focusing on what YOU want out of violin/viola! I am comfortable teaching anyone from beginners to players prepping for college auditions. As someone currently in college as a Violin Performance Major, I know the level of commitment it takes to succeed in this field and will show you the same level of commitment!
