About Adam

Hello! My name is Adam Pike and I am currently a student at the University of Sussex, studying a bachelor degree in politics and international relations. Education has always been a core part of my life and I love to share my knowledge with others. Alongside my degree, my other qualifications include 10 GCSEs with Grade 9 in History and three A Levels with a B in History. My specialisation is in Essay writing, where I know exactly what it takes to write an A* essay in the subjects I have taken. As previously mentioned, I thrive on teaching what I know to others and am easily able to adapt how I teach topics and courses based on the needs of the student. I am highly engaging in my teaching and very approachable for you to come to me with your academic issues and concerns and where you most need help in your studies.

About the lesson

My style of teaching is highly adaptable based on the needs of my students. I will teach and revise with you the entirety of the course and how to answer questions and write essays, whilst changing my methods and pace of teaching tailored to your needs. Whether it is topics you would like to be taught or topics and courses you wish to revise, I will teach and revise with you in a highly engaging style. I also specialise in essay writing so will be able to teach you how to improve your essays such by teaching you new skills, methods of writing or how to embed knowledge in your responses to questions. My lessons are aimed at both A Level and GCSE students, each lesson being 1 on 1 private tutoring. Whether you're performing below where you want to be or above where you want to be, my lessons are for everyone no matter the level you are at and I will be deeply invested in helping you achieve the best possible grades you can get. The typical length of my lessons will be 1 hour but depending on availability I may also be able to offer 2 hour sessions. Within my own studies I have achieved a 9 in GCSE History and a B in A Level History, alongside studying History within topics of my university course. Alongside my grades I have also written hundreds of A* (A Level) and Grade 9 (GCSE) essays as part of my studies. I would love to be your tutor and help you achieve the grades you deserve.
