About Shiqi
I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China, currently studying Media & Communication at the University of Melbourne, with a minor in Chinese. What makes me different? I’m also a language learner myself – I know how challenging pronunciation, tones, and characters can be, because I’ve been there while learning English. That’s why I teach with patience and clarity. I want to help you avoid the frustrations I once had, and make your Chinese learning journey enjoyable and rewarding. Teaching gives me genuine joy, especially when I see my students gain confidence in speaking.
