About Alexia
Hi! I am an undergraduate student in Instrumental Music Education at FSU. My passion is teaching, and I take great care in providing a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for all. Music has always been the medium of my expression, and I aim to create a space for you to do so. I hope to inspire your love of music and lead you wherever your journey takes you!

My teaching method is individual-based; every student learns differently! I evaluate the needs and goals of each student to understand their motivation, while challenging them to reach higher levels. A typical lesson plan depends on the level of the student, but aside from beginners, a lesson will include:
Tailored warm-up routines to prepare for learning
Fundamental techniques
Repertoire rehearsing
Conversing about any struggle areas, and how to support the student better.
For music theory:
Diagnostic questions to asses needs
Individualized problems/assignments
Correction of any homework or assignments with explanation
Move on to learn next skill
These lessons are for any age of learner who is beginning or growing their knowledge of music! I accept all levels excluding current undergraduate/graduate students already pursuing music.
