About Lauren

Hiya, my name is Lauren, and despite often trying hard at school growing up, I would find it extremely hard to focus and understand subjects - even my favourite subjects like art and history. I later found out I had ADHD and I have regained the love I had for those subjects now that they don't feel so unusually difficult. I hope now to help children who may be facing similar issues, or simply not enjoying their current subjects, to find ways in which they can study and maintain an enjoyment of the subject.

About the lesson

Firstly I will have an open conversation with your child to understand any anxieties/confidence issues that are underlying and affecting their learning. From this I will then create a specific learning plan that improves your child's understanding of the chosen subject and their overall confidence towards writing. Their progress will be shared with you at all stages so you are able to be involved in any issues that you are better equipped to understand, to ensure that your child is comfortable and happy with my tutoring.
