About Ed
I have been an adjunct instructor for over 35 years and have been teaching public speaking for over 25 of those years. My approach is very experiential. Students will learn by reading their lessons and then by putting them into practice. One very important thing to remember is that good public speaking is audience focused, not speaker focused. If you truly want to inform, amuse or persuade an audience, it is the job of the presenter to identify the best way possible to make that happen. This will also help the student avoid some of the fear of public speaking.
