About Logan
I graduated high school in 2015 and matriculated to Middlebury College, a top 5 liberal arts college in the country. There I majored in Molecular Biology and fell in love with research. Since 2015, I have coauthored 5 manuscripts that have gone on to be published and presented my research at the International Association for Dental Research in 2019.
After college, I decided to work in the competitive life science consulting industry for 3 years where I worked directly with leaders in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. During my time in consulting I discovered my passion for patient care and decided that pursuing a career in medicine best suited my longterm career goals. I applied to and was accepted at a handful of schools and am now a student at the University of Florida College of Medicine. I was able to accomplish all these feats despite being dyslexic using study strategies that worked best for my approach to learning.

As someone who struggles with dyslexia, I understand that everyone has a different approach to learning. Through trial and error, I overcame my disability and was able to find unique study habits that fit my learning style.
As a tutor I work with my students to develop a strategic plan that incorporates their learning approach and will allow them to achieve their goals. I work with anyone interested in preparing for medical school - including but not limited to tutoring for traditional coursework, the MCAT, essay preparation for AMCAS primary, and medical school secondary essays. Applying to medical school is a long process, so getting a tutor as soon as possible is a surefire way to ensure a strong application.
I also worked in the life science consulting industry at one of the top firms in the industry for 3 years. I understand the ins and outs of the job application process and can help students prepare resumes, cover letters, and prep for the interview process.
