About Stefani
Hi, I’m Stefani! I’m a Law student from Bulgaria currently studying International Law at an international university in Madrid. Having studied in both the UK and Spain, I’ve experienced different educational systems and understand what it’s like to learn in an international environment.
I achieved an A in A-Level History and a Grade 9 at GCSE*, and History has been one of my strongest academic interests for years. My passion for it originally came from my father, who has always had a deep love for history. Over time, that interest became my own — especially as I began noticing how many historical events, ideas and patterns continue to influence the world we live in today.
For me, History is much more than learning what happened and when. It gives us the context to understand the world around us. By understanding the past, we can analyze why things happened, recognize patterns, learn from previous decisions and develop a more informed perspective on the future.
I’m particularly interested in the connections between History, Law, Politics, International Relations and Economics. These subjects constantly overlap, and I believe understanding those connections allows us to analyze historical events on a much deeper level. A political decision can have an economic consequence; an economic crisis can lead to political change; a legal system can be shaped by centuries of history. What we learn as one historical "event" is often the result of many different forces coming together.
I want my students to develop that same curiosity.
Beyond achieving strong academic results, I’m someone who genuinely enjoys going deeper — asking why, looking at different perspectives, connecting ideas and understanding the bigger picture. I believe that this curiosity is one of the most valuable skills a student can develop.
Ultimately, my goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but to help them become curious, confident and thoughtful thinkers who can understand History, form their own opinions and communicate their ideas clearly.

I aim to make History feel less like a collection of dates to memorize and more like a connected story that you can understand, analyze and confidently explain.
Every student has different goals, strengths and ways of learning. Before we begin, I want to understand what you are working towards — whether that is improving your grades, preparing for an exam, becoming better at essays, or simply developing a deeper understanding of History. From there, I adapt my lessons to the way you learn best.
We begin by understanding the bigger picture of a topic — the story of what happened and why. Then, we go deeper into the key events, people and decisions, focusing on:
- Why events happened and what caused them
- Their historical significance and consequences
- How different events connect to each other
- Which details are important to remember
- How to retain information more effectively
But knowing the content is only part of succeeding in History. I help students become more confident in remembering, analyzing and communicating what they know.
A major part of my lessons focuses on turning knowledge into strong exam answers. Together, we work on:
- Building strong arguments
- Analyzing historical significance
- Selecting and using relevant evidence
- Structuring effective essays
- Developing critical thinking
- Explaining ideas clearly and persuasively
- Applying knowledge directly to exam questions
Rather than simply telling students what they need to know, I encourage them to think, question, explain and make connections. My goal is to help each student develop their own way of understanding and telling the historical story — in a way that feels natural to them and produces stronger results.
My lessons are suitable for students studying A-Level, IB, AP and other international curricula.
