About Julia
I graduated high school with an honors degree, took all AP English classes, and scored 4 or above on the exams. I had tutors when I was in school and they taught me many of my advanced problem-solving skills. That is why I strive to find unique ways to present new techniques and find what works best for you. Even if that means mixing it up till we find what is the most productive! Throughout high school, I tutored middle schoolers and have worked with many types of students.

As a tutor, I will explain necessary writing techniques in ways that can be related to everyday life. I believe that in order to be successful you need to find an individualized way to break down advanced topics into smaller manageable goals. A typical lesson would include, breaking down assignments and topics into a checklist, and visualizing ways to practice and remember skills. My services are geared towards middle school and high school level writing.
