About Lucy
I have had a year's experience with part time GCSE tuition in science, English and maths, tutoring many students individually and in small groups from ages ranging from 6 - 16. It was extremely rewarding and many of my students did well to continue into their A-level studies.

I believe in a firm understanding is the key foundation on which knowledge should be built upon. A passionate teacher is everything and I hope to inspire interest as well as help work towards exams.
I will personalise lessons by going through topics and covering areas students are unsure of, then building on that to practicing exam questions and extension questions to challenge thinking. I welcome flexible thinking and encourage students to think outside the box to see the bigger picture as well.
