About Rumaan Ali
I'm a first year undergrad student in Health Sciences with a passion for STEM and experience in science courses. I love group studying and helping my peers in understanding concepts they don't quite get as it help them learn and helps me better familiarize myself with content as well.
As a student in healthcare, I have a desire to help others in any way that I can, like sharing my knowledge and experience and aiding other students in their academic success!

As a student myself, I know how difficult it can be to grasp concepts taught in class, especially STEM classes. What works for me in terms of understanding is breaking down complex ideas into simpler concepts and determining step by step what I need to do in order to solve problems. As a tutor, my goal is to do the same thing for students in order to help them better understand the topics taught in class. I take multiple approaches to explaining a topic to ensure full understanding, and most importantly, I take my time during explanations.
I cater to students struggling in science courses, specifically chemistry and biology in middle school and high school levels. Having completed the curriculum myself, I am quite familiar with concepts being taught and have derived many of my own learning tips and methods that I am more than willing to share!
