About Samantha
I have loved teaching so far and have throughly enjoyed being challenged in a whole class setting. I am hoping to now bring this expertise into a more personalised setting. I have always enjoyed getting to know people one-on-one and understanding how the learn/operate best and providing support to ensure they can achieve their goals.I’m only 25 years of age and feel that being younger makes me relatable to my students and creates a positive environment for them to learn in.
I may be bias, but I love reading and analysing texts. I find it empowering being able to confidently share my ideas and opinions knowing I am well-educated because of the time and effort I put into my own learning. I’m always happy to have a friendly debate and discussion about issues and hope to instil this confidence in my students. However, ensuring that this is achieved by being respectful and measured.
Overall, I do believe that my ability to form strong bonds with my students allows for a better work output from them. They feel comfortable asking challenging questions and I will support them in whatever way I can.

I am a confident and personable teacher willing to accomodate to yours or your child’s needs. I have worked with students of all levels and understand how to differentiate their work accordingly. I have been a teacher for 4 years and specialise in English; however, these skills can be transferred into other literacy areas of life like resume writing.
Upon meeting, we will devise a plan of what you would like to achieve from each tutoring session. Everything I aim to do will be in order to improve your skills and confidence within the English world. This one-to-one support means each session will be tailored to you and we can work together to amend the direction of each session depending on how you are feeling/going with a particular concept.
Amongst all of this, I hope to bring a fun and enjoyable element of learning to our sessions, as well as a place where you feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from those errors.
