About Lucy
As an incoming college student at the Boston University Kilachand Honors College, all of the K-12 material is still fresh in my mind. I am also very familiar with the IB and AP curriculums, since I graduated high school as an International Baccalaureate Diploma recipient and AP Scholar with Distinction.

I tutor K-12 students, as I have experience working with younger students, but am also familiar with intensive high school curriculums such as the Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs. I'm flexible with student schedules, and have various creative strategies for efficiently working through material. A typical lesson will begin with a review of the student's needs, followed by my suggestions of how to approach the assignment, and finally a guided practice of that approach. I do my best to be cognizant of both student and parent goals, and want students to feel confident about learning and asking questions.
