About Romeo
"Hello everyone! I'm confident in my teaching, and I want you to be confident, too. At this level, I don't believe in giving homework. Your time outside of class is your own to relax and have fun—I know most people your age would rather not be studying! All I ask is that you give me your full focus during our sessions. If you can do that, you'll grasp most of what we cover. If you're aiming for top grades and a relaxed, enjoyable class, come see me! I see myself more as a friend here to help you. And trust me on this: Chemistry is the second easiest subject you'll take, right after Maths."

My teaching methodology is tailored to the student's level and future goals. · For O-Level/IGCSE: I primarily use the textbook, as the concepts at this stage are foundational and don't require extensive supplementary notes. The focus is on building a solid understanding directly from the core material. · For A-Levels: In contrast, I employ detailed notes and PDF slides to cover the significant amount of extra content that goes beyond the textbook. My approach is highly adaptable to each student's ambitions: · For a student taking Chemistry as one of many GCSE subjects, the goal is efficient, strategic teaching to help them achieve the highest possible grade. · For a student aiming for a competitive science degree (like Medicine/MBChB) for future studies, I go beyond the syllabus. I connect chemistry to biology and physics, building a strong foundation to bridge them towards university-level thinking. Lesson Structure & Pace: · I recommend 4 hours per week for GCSE and 5 hours per week for A-Level. · My standard plan is to complete a textbook in about 4 months, followed by 2 months of intensive past paper practice. My Experience & Target Students: With two years of home tutoring experience since my own AS-Levels, all of my students have achieved the highest grade attainable for their ability. My teaching is particularly effective for students who are behind in their school curriculum, as I am known for my fast-paced and highly efficient style, designed to help them catch up quickly.
