About Jessica

I am a current student studying Arabic & Persian at SOAS university. Previously studied Spanish & Arabic at Exeter university. Have studied Spanish for 8 years, not only at school & university but also abroad in language schools in Spain (including Barcelona, Sevilla & Malaga). I have a high level of proficiency in the Spanish language, both written & spoken. Previously have instructed friends & family in learning Spanish. After university I hope to work as an interpreter in the humanitarian sector, interpreting in Spanish & Arabic.

About the lesson

My personal familiarity with multiple languages (including Spanish, Arabic, French, Italian & Persian) & the process of learning them, means that not only have I had extensive experience learning languages myself but also that I have been in the exact same place as you in learning Spanish. As a result, I will be using the methods in the tutorials that I have personally found have successfully enabled me to learn Spanish & advance my Spanish to it's current level. I will adjust my tutoring to the specific requirements of my tutee. I am able to tutor any level of Spanish, from beginners through to advanced. My teaching method when approaching the language will focus on the consolidation & expansion of grammar and vocabulary knowledge, alongside conversational practice & listening skills. Via this method, the tutee will gain an extensive & thorough understanding of the Spanish language that will be enable them to communicate & express themselves clearly & proficiently in Spanish.
