About Pentelow
Hey! I'm a current Year 13 A-Level student studying AQA Psychology, Sociology, and English Language, and I'm super passionate about helping others feel confident in their learning. I started tutoring because I know how overwhelming school can get — especially when you're trying to figure out how to revise, how to write essays, or what your teachers even want from you in exams. Sometimes, having someone closer in age who actually gets it can make all the difference. I’ve always loved explaining things in simple, calm ways that actually stick. I've had tutoring experience in the past and genuinely enjoy helping people hit their goals, whether that’s moving up a grade or just feeling less stressed about their subjects. Each lesson is 1 hour long and held online, but I’m happy to do longer sessions if needed (like before mocks or for revision boosters!). I tutor AQA A-Level Psychology and Sociology. These sessions are perfect if you're: - Struggling to understand certain topics - Not sure how to revise or structure your notes - Wanting to improve exam technique, especially evaluation & essay writing - Aiming for higher bands but don’t know how to get there As a current Year 13 A-Level student, I get how stressful and overwhelming it can feel. I’ve consistently hit top band marks in end-of-topic tests, and got an A* in both my Year 12 exams for Psych and Soc. My sessions are best for current Year 12 students, learning Year 1 content but I’m happy to help Year 13 students too as I know what works — and what doesn’t. I focus on breaking down content in a way that’s simple but still meets the mark scheme. I’ll share real revision techniques, exam tips, and help you build confidence in a way that feels calm and manageable — not chaotic.
