About Ciaran
My name is Ciaran Murphy. I went to CBS Secondary School in Kilkenny. I repeated my leaving cert as I didn’t achieve my best potential the first time around and felt I was capable of more. I achieved 34 points more and another H1 in biology. I want to be an educator as I get great satisfaction from helping people achieve something, and if I can help a person achieve their dreams, I am willing to do anything to make that happen. I also have a passion for Biology and I’m always looking for new challenges associated with the subject so teaching will definitely bring new experiences and challenges along the way.

Have a biology book with my notes from 5th and 6th year. All H1 notes with definitions and simple yet effective diagrams, as well as relevant course content ONLY (no extra material, only relevant information). Make photocopies of them for all students and worksheets to practice for students to take home. Grinds will consist of any chapters a student may request or they feel they need to brush up on. Or if 5th year students approach me, I can set out a study plan on what they should be focusing on in 5th year and prepare them for 6th year content and revision during grinds. Students should feel they have a better understanding of a topic and also I’m willing to answer any questions they may have about the content or course in general.
