About Martin
¡Hola! I'm Martin Reiban, your dedicated Spanish tutor. I bring a rich cultural background and a passion for language to our lessons. I was born in the picturesque city of Cuenca, Ecuador, where I was immersed in the beauty of the Spanish language from a young age. During my time in Ecuador, I actively participated in various literature competitions in Spanish, which deepened my love for the language and its expressive power. At the age of 10, I embarked on a new chapter of my life when I immigrated to America. This journey allowed me to experience the challenges and joys of learning a new language firsthand, which I believe gives me a unique perspective as a tutor. Currently, I am an honors English student, which has further sharpened my language skills. I am excited to share my expertise, cultural insights, and enthusiasm for Spanish with you, and together, we will embark on a rewarding language-learning journey.

Vocabulary: Expanding your vocabulary is crucial for fluency. I will introduce you to a wide range of words and phrases, teaching you how to use them contextually and enhancing your language proficiency.

I use a variety of age-appropriate resources, including games, interactive activities, and multimedia materials, to keep the learning process fun and engaging. One of the tools I incorporate into our lessons is 'freerice.com' – a fantastic platform that not only helps you learn Spanish but also makes a positive impact on the world. For every question you answer correctly on the platform, 10 grains of rice are donated to the World Food Programme (WFP), allowing you to learn while contributing to a great cause. With personalized attention and a supportive learning environment, I aim to foster your passion for the Spanish language and help you excel in your language journey.
