Hi everyone 大家好,

Nice to meet you here! I'd like to tell you a bit of myself as an English and Mandarin Teacher. I'm from Canton, native in Cantonese and Mandarin. English is my second language and I enjoy learning English since the first day. That's why we say interest is the best teacher.
很高兴在这里遇见你！先简单介绍一下我自己。我是一名中英文老师，来自广州，说粤语和普通话。英文是我的第二语言，刚开始学习的时候就非常喜欢。所以我们说，兴趣是最好的老师。

During my teaching, besides the knowledge and skills of the language, I'd also love to share with you my ideas and experience on, e.g. how to learn a language with passion and higher efficiency, and how to take good advantage of your fragmented time to improve your Mandarin and English despite your busy work/academic/life schedules.
在教学过程中，除了教会你这门语言的知识和技能之外，我还愿意和你分享我学习语言的经验和方法，例如, 如何培养语言学习的兴趣和提高学习效率，以及如何在百忙的学习、工作和生活中利用好你的碎片时间去提高中文和英文水平。

On top of that, it would be a great opportunity for us to use English and Mandarin to exchange our languages and cultures, and learn from each other to become a better version of ourselves.
更重要的是，这是一个用中文和英文互相交流我们语言与文化的好机会，让我们互相学习，成为更好的自己。

1. Chinese/English with Daily Topics (e.g. seeing a doctor, shopping, opening a bank account, dining at a restaurant, etc.)

We have gone through the general knowledge, test layout and marking criteria about HSK level 4, followed by a speaking assessment through conversations, reading comprehension and a customized lesson plan for the following tutoring sessions.

I'm confident in your speaking fluency and coherence. Your pronunciation and the sentence patterns you use are natural and clear enough to convey accurate meanings, though you may bump into a handful of unfamiliar words.

Therefore, our main focus on your learning goals will be maximising your opportunity in speaking Mandarin in different daily topics and strategically building the gaps of your vocabulary and grammar to make you feel confident and competent to master your HSK4 exam.
