About Anton
**New to this site and looking forward to my first students!** I am a Cambridge Natural Sciences graduate and an experienced part-time maths tutor. At school, I came top of my year both for GCSEs and A-levels, obtaining highest possible grades in all my subjects. I have completed hundreds of hours of maths tuition for A level, IB, GCSE and other curricula, and tutored neuroscience to undergraduates at Cambridge. My approach to teaching is very holistic and empathetic, reflecting my passion for the subject and sensitivity to individual students' needs. In addition, my interdisciplinary outlook helps me to relate seemingly abstract concepts to things of wonder in the world. Apart from my science BA, I hold an MA in sculpture from the Royal College of Art in London; as an artist I am interested in intersections between art and science, architecture and personal utopias. Fun fact: I used to teach swimming to pre-school kids, which in turn has taught me a lot about advancing in small steps, overcoming fears and learning through play. Excellent tutor, patient and sensitive. Maths was my daughter's least favourite subject, but with Anton's guidance she is losing her fear and finding out that she can actually solve the problems she gets set in school. It made a real difference and I am very happy to recommend Anton as tutor.
