About Luke
Over the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible brands and expedition teams in some of the world’s most breathtaking locations — from rugged mountain ranges and treetops to open oceans and vast deserts. If you’re passionate about filmmaking and photography in the natural world, I’d love to share my knowledge, tips, and real-world experience. I’m skilled with a wide range of camera setups and am a licensed drone pilot, and I love operating in challenging conditions — a skill I’m excited to help you develop. I hold a degree in Marine and Natural History Photography and have built my career as a freelance filmmaker and photographer. Making a career in this field can be tough, but with the right approach, creativity, and drive, it’s absolutely achievable — and I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Whether you’re just picking up a camera for the first time or refining advanced techniques, I’ll guide you through the full process of creating stunning visuals that stand out — from concept to final edit. I’ve built my career as a freelance adventure filmmaker and photographer, known for bold visuals and captivating edits, and I’ll show you how to achieve the same in your own work. Together, we’ll cover everything from camera basics and composition to storytelling, editing, and bringing your creative ideas to life. Lessons are interactive and practical, with plenty of space to experiment, ask questions, and get feedback. You’ll not only sharpen your technical skills, but also discover how to develop your own unique style and confidence as a filmmaker or photographer. I teach online and in-person in Cornwall, and welcome students of all levels — from complete beginners to those aiming to take their skills to a professional standard.
