About Olivia
¡Hola! I'm Olivia, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico and a university professor with more than 20 years of teaching experience.
Throughout my career, I have helped thousands of students develop their Spanish skills and gain the confidence to communicate in real-life situations. I have taught at the university level in the United States and have worked with students from diverse linguistic, cultural, and professional backgrounds.
In addition to teaching Spanish, I am passionate about languages and lifelong learning. I speak English fluently and have studied French and Portuguese which gives me a deeper understanding of the challenges language learners face and the strategies that help them succeed.
My teaching style is dynamic, supportive, and student-centered. I believe that learning a language should be an engaging and enjoyable experience, not a stressful one. I strive to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable participating, asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy traveling, hiking, learning languages, reading, and exploring different cultures—experiences that enrich my lessons and help me bring language to life for my students.
I look forward to helping you achieve your Spanish goals and discover the joy of communicating in Spanish with confidence and authenticity.
