About Marta
Hi! My name is Marta, I am a native Spanish speaker who grew up in France and has self-taught Italian and Portuguese. I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from Oxford Brookes University and have been admitted onto a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Utrecht University, Netherlands.

On our first French, Italian or Spanish lesson, I always like to discuss the motivations for learning or improving the language as well as hear what you expect from our lessons to avoid disappointment. I will also ask you roughly what material you want us to follow through. This sets out a foundation from which to build on from, and it helps me understand how I can assist you best in your learning. I adapt my lessons to your needs, whether you look for a grammatical-focused, vocabulary-focused or an entirely conversational class in French (GCSE, A-Level), Spanish (GCSE, A-Level) or Italian (GCSE).
Some things you can expect for me are: I will give you tips on how to remember vocabulary which worked for me, share some commonly used expressions in Spain (we use many expressions interchangeably on a daily basis) and make useful and interesting dialogues that you can not only apply to your exams but also apply next time you want to order at a restaurant in (rural) Spain or Italy for example.
Moving on to Psychology A-Level, luckily, the material that AQA is currently teaching is the same material I learned back in school which I again revisited at University. I am very familiar with Social, Biological, Abnormal, Experimental, Developmental & Cognitive Psychology and Research Methods (including Advanced Statistics).
