I believe in a flexible manner of instruction responsive to age, personality, ability, and background of each individual.
I have taught students with autistic and minor learning disabilities and have learned to be flexible in terms of methods and materials I use, as well as expectations and goals for each student.
I don't require talent, but I do require practice time and ask parents to help discipline practice time away from studio.
