About Rosie
I am a computer science student currently doing a work placement year at IBM where I am a software development intern. I have been studying computer science since GCSE level and also did an ICT BTEC as GCSE level so am familiar with both the theory and practical parts of both. I am also familiar with maths having taken maths and further maths at A-Level.
I am familiar with the following programming languages: python, java, javascript, typescript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
I have tutored slightly before in helping GCSE and KS3 students with maths and computing subjects in the lead up to their individual exams.

I am confident in giving both lessons of both theory and practical and practical assistance in computer science and computing to a degree level, and maths to a GCSE level.
I am a friendly tutor and have a strong passion for anything to do with computing I try pass on to students, usually I prefer a mix of explanation and theory and practical that supports the theory the student is learning about. I also help with revision practice and exam practice, in that I often go through a question step by step with the mark scheme with the student. This often helps the student begin looking at exam questions with the actual marks in mind.
First lesson is free and to focus on what both the student and parent (if applicable) want from future lessons and how to cover. I also use it to gain an gauge of the current skill level and base knowledge.
