About Tanya
Growing up in a family deeply rooted in education, with relatives spanning across various teaching roles from Hindi to Biology, Maths, Science, and Sanskrit, teaching runs in my blood. From an early age, I found myself drawn to helping others understand complex concepts, even tutoring middle schoolers during my high school years. This early exposure instilled in me a profound appreciation for the art of teaching and the importance of patience and understanding in nurturing young minds.
During my college years, I continued to hone my teaching skills by tutoring classmates in calculus and statistics while pursuing my diploma in Civil and Environmental Engineering. This experience further fueled my passion for education and laid the groundwork for my subsequent journey as a teacher.
Throughout my B.Tech program in Civil Engineering, I discovered a particular aptitude for explaining challenging mathematical concepts like trigonometry, matrices, integration, and differentiation to my peers. I thrived on the opportunity to make these subjects more accessible and enjoyable for others.
While my expertise may vary across different mathematical domains, I am confident in my ability to teach calculus effectively and am comfortable with statistics. My experiences as both a student and a tutor have equipped me with a deep understanding of core mathematical principles and the patience required to convey them effectively.
As I embark on this new chapter as a teacher on Superprof, I am excited to share my knowledge, inspire confidence in my students, and reassure them of my professionalism and dedication to their academic growth.
