About Aldane
I'm Aldane, a Kingston-based developer and STEM student who loves explaining how things work. I passed 8 CSEC subjects, including Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and IT, and I completed CAPE Pure Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, and Communication Studies. At school I was named Most Outstanding Student in CSEC Chemistry and Physics, and I served on the school president's team, where I built our school website.
Outside the classroom, I'm a self-taught programmer who has published more than 50 open-source projects, and I'm CompTIA Security+ certified. I studied Computer Networking and Security at the University of Technology, Jamaica. I'm patient, organised, and happy to go back over a topic as many times as it takes, so you can feel confident going into your exams.

I teach maths, physics, chemistry, and IT/programming to CSEC and CAPE students in Kingston. I passed 8 CSEC subjects, including Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and IT, and I completed CAPE Pure Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, and Communication Studies. At school I was recognised as Most Outstanding Student in CSEC Chemistry and Physics.
My approach is to explain each topic one step at a time in plain language, work through examples together, and then have you try similar problems yourself so we can see exactly where you get stuck. I focus on understanding why a method works, not just memorising it, and I go back over anything that isn't clear. I've already helped classmates in CAPE Computer Science by breaking code down step by step.
Lessons last about 60 minutes and suit high school students preparing for CSEC or CAPE, or anyone who wants help getting started with maths or Python programming. We can work on homework, school topics, or exam preparation.
