About Syeda Fatima

Hello! I am a Computer Science student at the Institute of Space Technology, and becoming a teacher has always been my dream. Teaching is not just something I do, it is what I look forward to every single day and the path I am truly passionate about pursuing.
I deeply understand how challenging tech concepts can feel because I have been in your shoes. I struggle and learn best by breaking down complex topics into simple, relatable pieces, and that exact process of making things clear for myself is how I teach.
I genuinely believe that learning is power, and teaching is the most impactful way to create positive change in the world. My goal is to offer a warm, patient, and encouraging space where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and growing your confidence step by step in ICT, computer networks, telecommunications, and software. I am so excited to welcome you and learn together!

About the lesson

As a Computer Science undergraduate at the Institute of Space Technology (IST), I focus on breaking down complex, abstract technical concepts into clear, practical visual insights. Having recently mastered these core subjects in my own academic journey, I understand where students usually struggle and how to bridge those gaps effectively.
Teaching Methodology & Techniques
My lessons combine conceptual clarity with practical applications:
* Interactive Breakdown: I use diagrams, real-world analogies, and visual flowcharts (especially for computer networks and telecommunications) to make fundamental concepts easy to visualize.
* Hands-on Problem Solving: For software development, ICT, and computer basics, we work through real examples, exercise problems, and code walkthroughs together.
* Student-Centered Pace: Every topic is tailored to the student’s current understanding, encouraging questions and active discussion.
Typical Lesson Structure
* Duration: Standard sessions are 60 minutes (flexible to 90 minutes for intensive topics or exam prep).
* Format:
* 10 Mins: Quick review of previous concepts & Q/A.
* 35 Mins: Core topic breakdown with visual aids and practical examples.
* 15 Mins: Hands-on practice, concept check, and recap.

* Academic Background: Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the Institute of Space Technology (IST).
* Subject Mastery: Strong foundation and current coursework in ICT, Computer Networks, Telecommunication, Software Engineering, and Computer Fundamentals.
* Hands-on Experience: Practical experience conducting workshops, academic mentoring, and technical project collaboration.
