About Lauren

I began recreational gymnastics at the age of two, and competed until I was eighteen as a level 10 gymnast. I began coaching when I was fifteen, and have worked with preschoolers, adults, competitive gymnastics, and everything in between. As a current pre-med student at UCSD, I continue coaching recreational gymnastics to both adults and kids, and am a Head Coach of the Rec Gymnastics program. I love sharing what I am passionate about with other students, and I aspire to make each of my gymnasts the best athletes they can be.

About the lesson

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to coaching. I am passionate about truly getting to know each of my students to be able to develop a personalized and individualized plan to help each of my gymnasts become the best athletes possible. Sessions will include gymnastics warm up, stretching, drills, basics and skills, with coaching tailored to each students' needs. I believe every athlete can accomplish any skill or goal they put their mind to, and I am determined to help my students challenge themselves and be successful through a shared love for the sport.
