About Elisa

I am a polyglot, fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese and Italian. I am specialized in modern and foreign literature (English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Brazilian, African, Spanish and Latin American), languages and linguistic, African Studies, politics and international relations.

I have been delivering private tutorials for the past seven years to students from different backgrounds and nationalities. At the moment, I am based in London and delivering Italian, Spanish and Portuguese lessons (both for people who want to learn the language for personal/professional reasons and preparing students for the AQA GCSE Exams).

I was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and went to a bilingual international high school where I studied Italian for sixteen years. During my undergraduate, I was awarded a scholarship and moved to Sao Paulo (Brazil), where I became fluent in Portuguese. I took my undergraduate in Literature, hence I have an outstanding academic training in languages, linguistic, semiotic and discourse analysis.
I have a great deal of experience in teaching, delivering one-to-one lessons and workshops. I am experienced in content production and have a good understanding of learning processes and teaching and assessment methodologies.
I consider myself a creative, hard-working well-presented person with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. I just finished an MA in African Politics at SOAS, University of London. I have a solid background in politics, literature, economy, international relations and arts, and I use my knowledge to improve the quality of my lessons, making them engaging and amusing.

About the lesson

I deliver one-to-one personalized tutorials. Depending on the student's needs and interests, I plan my sessions accordingly. Apart from conventional language books, I use additional resources related to art, politics, literature, journalism, music, philosophy, etc.

I look forward to keeping expanding my network of students in London!
