About Souhila
As a student undertaking Ph.D. in Education, I have a very strong interest in pursuing a teaching career. With experience in teaching online and face to face, doing private tutoring and group tutoring. Working at University and elementary level, I believe that I have a diverse background with much to offer.
My first teaching experience was at university, in my home country when I taught undergraduate students for six months. As I moved to the UK in 2018 to pursue a degree in Ph.D., I developed a language teaching experience. As a native speaker of the Arabic language, I tutored people who are English native speakers with Arabic/ Islamic heritage.
I found personal tutoring very enjoyable and invaluable experience in the sense that it enabled me to communicate with people from different cultures and backgrounds and then learning about the linguistic differences. Teaching one to one has equally allowed me to develop a further understanding of how my students are performing and how to be most effective in helping them to succeed at their own pace.I could demonstrate the ability to effectively manage and communicate with my students and create a positive learning environment. in a nutshell, Being part of any student’s development brings a genuine smile to my face and feeling of conceit that makes it all worthwhile.

I do follow a inductive approach to teaching that is proven to be more creative and efficient than the deductive approach as it encourages the students to build up the lessons themselves rather than being a passive recipient of the information from the teacher
