About Jack
I am tutoring English Literature, English Language and Drama at any level up to and including GCSE. I attended Eton College for five years, achieving 11 A*s at GCSE and a D3 in English at Pre - U (equivalent to an A at A - Level). I am now studying English and Drama at the University of Birmingham. I have a very strong work ethic and plan lessons thoroughly to ensure I provide the best tutoring possible for students. I have experience working with young people through volunteering for the charity, Metro Blind Sport. This involved helping visually impaired people participate in sport. For this it was essential to build trust with people and put them at ease. During this experience I developed strong people skills, as well as an enjoyment in assisting others. I have always been a perfectionist and bring this to every lesson, along with commitment and a friendly attitude. Jack is an enthusiastic, engaging and highly likeable young man. Because of his genuine passion for English and Drama, he naturally inspires others in discussion and debate. He is an intelligent and articulate individual who was long-listed in the National Theatre writing programme and whose performance as Macduff earned him the best youth actor award from the Rose Theatre.
