About Fede

I have been playing the drums for nearly a decade, and over that time I have studied many genres of music, such as Jazz, Latin, Rock, Pop, RnB, among many others. I have experience teaching people of all ages, including having done a masterclass in Colombian Rhythms at Berklee College of Music. I want to make the student feel engaged and welcome in a musical environment where the idea is to learn and grow, not only as a drummer or percussionist, but as a musician as a whole.

About the lesson

I like to hear the student first and accommodate the lessons to them. In our lessons I always try to make the student feel comfortable playing what they like and pushing them to where they feel safe but challenged. We usually play to the songs you like and practice technique, but my main goal is to get students to understand music as a concept and as a whole, not just from the drummer's perspective. I teach all levels of playing and all ages, in English and in Spanish.
