College student with 19 years of experience gives Spanish lessons (translate, read, write, & speak)

Diana Cobar would be a great fit for the Spanish tutoring position due to her great communication skills, patience and genuine passion for teaching. I believe that in order to be a great teacher, the level of mastery of the subject is key and I advocate on behalf of her mastery in the language. Having known Diana for over four years, I have come to know that the primary language spoken in the Cobar household is Spanish, which has greatly contributed to her fluency. Diana is a young lady with a charismatic and welcoming attitude which will help build a bridge of confidence and encourage the students to confide their troubling questions to her. She has definitely helped me in the past with preparation for the AP Spanish test in my senior year of high school. Although there was a time where I need repeated clarification she always had the patience to explain concepts over and over again until I grasped it. She is a great listener, who will try to understand at what point you are stuck in and make the concept as clear as possible. I believe that this is what sets Diana aside from other tutors, because at the end of the day student go to a tutor because they have an unsteady feeling towards a subject and they should be able to go to someone and feel relief instead of more tension, and Diana help deliver that sense consolation.
