About Breena
I am a Social Work major with a passion for language, teaching, and holistic wellness. Connecting with children and students of all ages brings me so much joy!
Now a junior in college, I have taken AP Spanish V in high school, earning a 5 on the AP test, and continued my Spanish studies in college.
In addition, my volunteer experience tutoring Spanish speaking elementary school students has provided me ample opportunities to perfect my Spanish speaking abilities, and teach the language!

While working as a Sunday School teacher for 6 years teaching Hebrew, I have perfected my ability to help children of all ages to understand, and remember vocabulary and grammar to master examinations, and seamlessly communicate.
Once I gain a sense of the students' learning style, whether they are visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc, I formulate a plan based on what I believe would be optimal for their success. However, know that my opinion is never final, and I always share my plan with the student, because the learning process takes two to tango! If we're both on board, and we are a good fit relationally, then both of us can grow and flourish.
I like to create a fun learning environment by keeping a positive attitude, despite the difficulty of some of the material. When my students feel frustrated, I shift to more understandable material in order to solidify their confidence.
